Hi Bonnie, I am getting a PHD in international investing and this was not the plan.:-) I have recently learned the Asian markets handle their stocks like the "boys" in our grain pits...limit down/up and will not let a stock trade if imbalance produces a price that is greater than limit down/up. With all this new found knowledge..if I am correct..these Asian markets are just taking the slow road to some kind of a bottom and we are not there yet. They have to wait until tomorrow to bring them down again. I was listening to HK on CNBC and the Korean market had most of the large cap stocks limit down and they were done for the day as far as price was concerned. BTW, Sony did not trade in Japan today..not enough buyers to open trading on the stock. Panic was setting in because they felt the Americans would bring Sony down tomorrow and they can not get out of their positions in the stock ahead of our trading. I don't think this thing is over.

Thanks for the support "warrior with spear", finally have shorted enough SPY so my portfolio is making money..dam little.. but got balanced today.

I shorted Amazon today and am going to get some more of this one tomorrow. Hope Jeff Vinik is not ready to pounce and do another short squeeze, right now I believe the hedge fund managers have bigger fish to fry.

Sleep tight..getting ready to buy a bear for my MAC.. This could go on for a while and will need someone to talk to.:-)

Joan
