FWIW, from a recent analysts report (Sat 15th): "IDT's losses are expected to disappear in 1999 with a profit in the area of $0.44 per share currently forecasted. This is an improvement from the prior year deficit of $-0.21 per share. In 2000 net income is expect to again increase, with per share results in the area of $0.56 thought probable."
This was before the spin off news, and there is a "hold" consensus. That may change any minute.....
ALSO, conference call scheduled for June 3.
Short term? If people get in and out, there may be lots of opportunities to scalp bits here and there, but the time frame (for me) is more like weeks, not days. A bad day here and there (and HERE) is not gonna make me bail. I MAY and I stress "may" try to time a spike and get in cheaper, but then again that may not be worth the trouble. Certainly it woulda been nice to sell @ 30, but I missed that one.....
This one seems like a safe bet, but I must admit I hate stale money while some of the other stocks on my list are going nuts.... Still, this gives me time to get some studio work done, maybe go to the park, play with the kids, you know have a life????
