Heirs to the mineral rights of a diamond rich farm near Pietersburg have reached an out- of-court settlement with the mineral and energy department ,but their battle to assert ownership over the mineral rights continues with two mining companies.'
The rest of the article runs over all the news that we have gone over ad nauseum on this thread.
Briefly:the battle goes on as the "heirs" claim that they did not register earlier as they were unaware of the rights and RG and SUF continue in their line of legal defence that the "heirs" did not comply with SA law by not registering etc..
