I'd even take middle aged blood. But hey, both my parents are dead now, and both of them started making very poor decisions at least 10 years before they died. Our decline is inevitable- and every one of us will age and eventually find ourselves in terminal decline- but to inflict that on a country seems a kind of hubris.

I can't imagine why people celebrate that. If you want experience, get a man or woman of around 50- who has actually had some education and experience, traveled widely, and managed to deal with many different types of people, in many different kinds of situations.
