Re: ICA vs Java/HTML

Heeren- Thanks for your response to the ICA mobile wireless positioning ideas. Now here's the biggy I would really enjoy hearing your opinion on.

You see jkb is/was one of our resident ICA experts. We had very long discussions about a year or so ago when I brought to the thread, numerous times(much to MikeB's groans<g>), the new Java/HTML paradigm and how it may compete with CTXS. I think we all learned a great deal from the discussions. We even had Oracle investors/experts adding their comments. Oracle8i to be exact.

jkb did a very nice job of explaining what he is seeing out there in the real world. So I have to say, I was most relieved when just recently(maybe yesterday), some analyst came out and raised top/bottom line estimates. Apparently what jkb is seeing in his world(no doubt it's accurate), hasn't started to hit CTXS yet.

Can you give us your ideas of what jkb brought up his post? Better yet, are you seeing the same things as jkb has? Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
