Well Lino... now we know why Belinda went to the Liberals... She has the most important qualification... Hypocrisy. (for old guard Liberals) Mind you I'd be pissed @ Emmerson too if I'd voted for him and I sympathize with those that did vote for him. Stronach and Emmerson are birds of a feather. Is this really what the 'ethics' are about though or is more to do with patronage and stealing money ? Funny how some that are calling Emmerson's move an ethics issue had called Stronachs move a "great political maneuver". They must be horribly embarrassed...... Sane people would consider the theft of 200M tax dollars an ethics issue....lying about the Dingwall firing would be an ethics issue, losing over a billion in Jane Stewarts ministry would be an ethics issue, theft in the gun registry an ethics issue, failing to outlaw possession of kiddie porn an ethics issue, not getting tough on crime for fear of annoying ones peers an ethics issue, gutting our military and border guards while stealing from taxpaying Canadians an ethics issue....the Emmerson thing, simply an embarrassment to the liberals and nothing more than whining. Get used to the whining as it will keep getting louder. PM Harpers' federal accountability act will bring out some LOUD whiners...... and heaven help our ear drums if he pursues the return of our money. Notice how the liberals think it is "their" money even after they had to admit to stealing it? Maybe the rule should be that you must sit as an independant until the next election if you decide to forsake your party.. I think they should have to step down and try to win in a byelection.....if they can get the "new" party's nomination. I still think in Belinda's case it has far more to do with sour grapes at losing the Conservative leadership... and now she gets to try for the Liberal leadership... Like I said earlier... her ducks are lining up... Belinda is a homely blonde gold-digger....combined with hypocrisy the perfect qualifications for leadership of the liberals..... a shoe-in for the job as "daddy" will buy it by writing a check to cover the liberals debt. The sad fact is that some familiar individuals will again call this a "great political maneuver". These hollow bastards are a pathetic lot :-)
