wish Kerry could explain to us what we could have done to prevent the weapons from being moved. I mean, we could have invaded Iraq and taken over the cache - oh, wait, we did that.
Or, we could have asked the international community, like Syria and Turkey, to help us - no, wait, we did that, too.
Everybody, and I mean everybody, knew that Saddam had all kinds of weapons and was constantly moving them around in order to hide them from the UN weapons inspectors. We were desperate to come in through Turkey and got shafted because Kerry's buddies, the French, told Turkey they would never be admitted to the EU if they helped us
if anything, considering that the weapons were gone by the time we pushed deep into iraq, the argument should be made that all the months and months that we spent in our 'rush to war' trying to convince the french allowed saddam ample time to have these weapons to be dispersed to be used another day...
we, our allies, and most egregiously, the iraqi people continue to pay a heavy price for the stalling tactics of the french
we apparently went to the location to search in May of 2003, the weapons were gone
what amazes me is that kerry continues to run with the original misleading story even after it has been demonstrated the weapons were gone by the time we arrived
how this man, kerry, can confabulate and dissemble unchallenged is beyond me... |
