Tim, the fact that most of the bills passed by 60 votes is not a good argument in favor of the filibuster.

Maybe, maybe not, but we aren't discussing the filibuster, but rather reconciliation (which is of course related, but still a different topic)

The recent extension of unemployment benefits was delayed by a filibuster and then passed with about 97 votes.

And what does that have to do with a reconciliation vote, esp. one of less than 60 votes, outside of the range of what reconciliation is supposed to be for?
