Cary,

As you know, there were rumors earlier this year that AMAT would be buying SVGI. What do you think are the chances that AMAT may acquire a lithography comapny seeing that lithography represents an enormous part of the chipmaking cost? As you also are probably aware, AMAT has had a history of branching out. However, it is JMO that AMAT may well pass on acquiring a player such as SVGI precisely beacuse lithography as we know it should hit a wall in approx. 5-7 years. Seeing that this is the case and new methods will have to be discovered(i.e. EUV, X-Ray etc.) to shrink line widths, do you think this would really be such a good investment?
