Of course, now you can have a flat screen LCD display or a projection set so this quote is no longer entirely accurate. Besides, there's a lot of good stuff on Discover, The Learning Channel and PBS. Probably a quarter of my TV time, and half of my non-movie time, is spend on these channels. The rest is spent on Dilbert, Home Movies, King of the Hill, and Futurama.

I haven't decided if I like Home Movies yet. It's pretty weird (and this is coming from a Monty Python/Brazil/12 Monkeys/Pulp Fiction fan).
