two methods for ya...

with your mouse pointer, left click on the text where you want to begin, then while holding the mouse button down, slide the pointer over the desired text. when you let go, you will have highlighted the text. at this point you can go two ways.

first way is you press the 'ctrl' key and 'c' key simultaneously. then go to where you wish to paste the text. click on the area with your mouse pointer. then press the 'ctrl' key and the 'v' key simultaneously.

there you have it.

the second method is, after following instructions in the first paragraph above, click on 'edit', then 'copy'. then go to the place you wish to paste the text and click there. finally, click on 'edit' and 'paste'.

there you go again.
