Zinc just blew though $1.11, copper almost $2.30 and silver up .10 at $10.43----here we go!!! I wonder if it was caused by bush's saber rattling yesterday? Or the 9,000,000,000,000 new debt ceiling. First stop for juniors 1987 prices (about 5 times higher than they are now-lol), then 1980, about 20 times higher than they are now and then 2006-lol?? The human caused globaal warming argument is like the age old argument does smoking cause lung cancer: yes and yes. As I have mentioned my son in law has a PHD in atmospheric chemistry from UC Ervine and that is pretty much all he does i.e. study global warming. He knows all the big scientific hitters and he says they pretty much all believe global warming is caused by man. And then there are a bunch of right wingers (always the right wingers-lol), who get their talking points from the conservatives or corporations, neither of whom are big fans of science, denying everythng from evolution to well global warming-lol. Lest we forget bush's top science guy was rewriting the scientific reports (before he recently resigned when they found out) to change things like scientifc conclusions saying "we are quite certain" to "there is a slim possibility. And recently the head of )"NOAA?) said publicly the bush administration was leaning on him to rewrite scientific conclusions!! The right wing dismissed him as a nut case, as usual. My son in law knows him and says he is brillant and seldom wrong!! The whole resistance to accepting the reality of global warming caused by man is brought to you by the same guys who brought you the Salem witch trials-lol and intelligent design and it is good to be an idiot-lol.
