Hi, Addi OR any SUNW experts:
After reading many of your postings, I feel that you know a lot about
SUNW. Therefore, I would appreciate your response to a question of mine.
I am a SUNW holder, but no where near a computer expert. I would
like to get a clear picture about the long-term prospect of SUN, I
mean 5 or ten years down the line. But I really don't know how JAVA
would help SUN make money, short term wise or long term wise. There
has been a lot of hype about JAVA, and more and more software developers are adapting JAVA, including that thousand-ton gorilla in Redmond, WA. What good will it do to SUN? Or is it just hurting MSFT,
but SUN may not necessarily gain anything financial wise? Does SUN
gain anything directly in licensing JAVA to MSFT? You know, just being inovative and creating great product is not enough anymore. Look
at where Apple is right now, considering the MacOS is far better than
Window, even with a "95 attached to it. But Window'95, a piece of crap, has a choking-dominance over MAC. I don't know why American
have put up with this, but that's not the point. I am worried that
SUN's future may not be as bright as what you believe, considering
what Wintel has done so far.

Sorry about the long question, I would appreciate any logical response
to my question.

Happy investment to everybody.

Da bull.
