1) I never got a response from them by email, in fact I have yet to receive any literature....

The web site is still there, but I just realized that most of it looks like gibberish unless you have a chinese font reader to use, except were they use the little gifs...

Chinese Court Case Pits Internet Phone Users vs China Telecom

Beijing, Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) - Two Chinese computer users are suing local police authorities for violating their property rights after their business of supplying technology allowing international telephone calls over the Internet was shut down in January.

Beijing-based companies are also providing Internet phone equipment, promising telephone calls to the United States and elsewhere for less than one-thirtieth of China Telecom's charges.

China Court Backs Internet Phone Entrepreneurs

BEIJING (Reuters) - In a landmark China case, a court ruled that a firm offering cheap international calls through the Internet
did not violate the country's state-run telecom monopoly, the China Daily said on Thursday.

The Fuzhou court also stipulated that international calls made through IP were technologically different from conventional overseas calls.

Industry analysts have said the case had broad implications for state control over the Internet in China.
