Not an attempt to throw you into data overload, but there is a third way to copy and paste in addition to the two mr.mark described.

Left click on your subject, or text as Mark described.

Then simply right click, left click on copy, move your curser to the desired location, right click again, then left click on paste.

I find this the easiest and fastest method.

To each her/his own, I guess.
