OT Forget the gentleman's name. Di-something. An Italian fellow, born in Brooklyn. Healthy, lively fellow. One evening he was walking on the shoulder/edge of a road and was hit by a car. It was fatal. I wish I remembered more of his stories. That was 10-11 years ago. He did tell me his regiment then went to Europe for the World War. He fought under "Black Jack" Pershing both in Mexico and Europe. Thank you for bringing to mind a very pleasant memory.
