Zip Ramp Calculations

I think you're seeing the effect of the Zip production ramp kicking in. I assume that to supply the OEM channel fully (at least initially) they need to hit 1-2 million per month. Based on the current ramp it would seem that figure would be hit sometime in 1Q97. Allow for a bit of fudge and it seems safe to say that the production capacity to make Zip the standard should be in place by mid-1997.
