MotoMan: A great deal more than $300 mil will be needed by N to complete its infrastructure + NI. Previous guidance was that between $1.2-$1.4 bil would be spent in FY 99. That projection is now under review because of the bond market, and the delay in the sale of the towers and/or partners deal, and the postponement of the NI spinoff. The "slowdown" in construction and firing of contractors is probably related to the recent tough bond market, and I'm speculating that mgmt is reviewing ALL expenses for a number of apparent reasons.

p.s., Wonder why there is a discrepancy between newswire reports on the yield (12.25% vs. 12.75%). They both report the issue price as 98.578, so one of them is wrong. Anyone know how to do the math on this? TIA.
