With a good owner, you can turn a franchise around in a few years. Look at what Cohen did with the Mets. He waited to hire a great evaluator of talent, Stearns and has largely butted out of Stearn's decisions. Plus, Cohen is a great down to earth guy. He gives dignity to being rich. He wears blue jeans and a Met baseball cap at all Met games and is very down to earth and comes across as a fan, not a stuck piece of shit like the Wilpons. He offers full financial support.

This past season was year 4 of the Cohen regime.

When something does not work out, Cohen pivots quickly.

Year 5 should be interesting.

Woody Johnson provides financial support, but is to involved in the daily operations of the team, like the Cowboy owner. With owners like that, Jets and Cowboys will never win anything.
