Voltaire, take an aspirin, a stiff shot, and get some sleep. Must totally disagree with your analysis of margin versus marriage. The best investment(s) I have ever made were in my wife, my kids, and my homes. They don't return financial reward, they return emotional reward. They don't require financial investments (those are sunk costs), they require emotional investment. Like LTBH, marriage requires commitment and "buy on the dips" (solve the problems). The result is the biggest Gorilla investment return in life--unconditional love and spiritual fulfillment. Sorry yours didn't work out. Gotta chose the right stocks and be willing to stick with them.
