Hi all; Collection of some previous SI Admin interactions with SI Rambus thread:
SI Admin(Bob), July 31, 2000, RMBS at $73.313 To: richard surckla This is a response to a deleted message Quite a bit of thread bandwidth here for a flamefest. An inappropriate amount, I'd say. Could we please take the war private and leave the thread to specifically RMBS discussion? Regards, SI Admin (Bob) #reply-14140060
richard surckla, July 31, 2000 To: SI Admin(Bob) This is a response to a deleted message SI Admin (Bob), Thanks for the prompt reply to my post. I take it from Daniel Schuh's post below that the other part of my post to you regarding libelous statements appears to have been taken care of by Rambus attorneys. Now that this matter is resolved and Rambus' reputation has been restored, it's case closed as far as I am concerned. Posters can bash Rambus as much as the like, but to make charges of illegalities is another matter. Message 14133884 #reply-14141297
SI Admin(Jeff), September 11, 2000, RMBS at $79.250 Hello members. Please remember that the privacy of members is important. Attempting to identify members by their "real names" can be a Terms Of Use violation. I've noted several instances of this in the last few days on this thread. I thank you in advance for your cooperation. #reply-14363588
Bilow, April 16, 2001, RMBS at $18.410 Hi denni rash; Of course it's BS. Of course I wrote it. I thought it would be clear from the content, but one of my EE buddies thought it was too well done, so I guess I have to come out and state it publicly. The "ABA article on Rambus lawsuits" is a fake, a parody. [See #reply-15672817 for a badly formatted copy.] I hope you all had a laugh. Personally, I thought it was a hoot, and that I included enough obvious spoofery that it would be realized by all to be such, in addition to the obvious fact that the ABA doesn't run around commenting on lawsuits. But I must have hit enough of the real world for it to not be totally obvious to all. #reply-15670844
Zeev Hed, April 16, 2001, RMBS at $18.410 Hey Carl, careful out there, someone that has not read your "retraction" (or later will claim he has not read you retraction, prove otherwise....) may sell tomorrow at the open or in premarket, will hire a group of smart lawyers (Finger, Finger and Fingers, and pay them 40% of the take) and sue you for the loss you caused him. It has happened before with bogus articles published with the authority of a respected body like the ABA. I trust you have deep pockets to defend yourself (g), actually, you are better off not having deep pockets, if you have deep pockets, you may be assured that someone will come after those deep one (g). well, I read your retraction, so it will not be I (VBG). Zeev #reply-15670928 [So where's the money sent in by the people who sold based on that article and are now $10 to the better?]
Bilow, May 2, 2001, RMBS at $16.400 Hi all; I may be in trouble with SI Admin again. This time I believe I have done no wrong. Here's the post I've received: ... My response: ... #reply-15745684

Win Smith, in reply: Nice language, JD. Coming from a Rambus flack, I'm sure your usage is well within the silly SI TOU provisions. The SI admins have a special place in their hearts for this particular fraudulent operation. #reply-16009383
