That is not what socialism is. If you want to see modern day socialism on steroids look at the Nordic countries. And they are all thriving. Modern socialism simply means using democracy to organize a society so that the most people benefit in a way that makes society better e.g. reduces income inequality which is a cancer on society. E.g. advanced societies like the Nordic countries have learned by using the collective income from a society to increase the number of people educated (free education) society gains greatly, or universal health care and a social safety net. << The cat has escaped and the Democrats are moving hard towards socialism. The moths see the flame and cannot resist. We will read more and more about socialism and their demands for open borders and social programs for a long time. "Free stuff for everyone! Vote for me!"
