Still makes no sense. Why didn't anyone speak up? Why didn't I speak up? I kept thinking someone else would.

The people who could have done something, but did not, cannot forgive themselves. This is the reality of peacekeeping in the new world we now live in.

Looking away isn't an option anymore. The photos of the dead will find us, and haunt us.
