| In all due respect, Teevee raises a real, legit concern which has potential legs to develop into an even bigger problem. Don't know the dude, or his amigos, as you put it, but i'm also very concerned about how the canadian PM is dealing with this crisis, right from the start. I'm from Québec, and here, there isn't one newspaper or news show, french or english that isn't highly critical of the PM handled this whole thing. And without the leadership of the Quebec premier, perhaps the whole country would be in a much bigger quagmire. The reality of this crisis forced the PM, to revisit, review, certain liberal political beliefs that were downright totally counter-productive, if not utterly irresponsible, for the safety of canadian citizens. So, if i may, be allowed to respectfully disagree ! The world is fighting for some kind of survival, and people are realizing that globalization has several weaknesses.... hence nations having no choice but reverting back to their nation's capacity to deal with, contain this crisis as all borders are now closed, and "protectionism" is back in the picture... for obvious and less obvious reasons. People are fighting for toilet paper and food, governments are fighting for medical supplies, and securing borders .... Compassion and self-compassion more than ever is necessary .... FWIW ! |
