Sorry, can copy it and paste it as a table but it won't stay formatted as a table. There's another step I am forgetting. Oh, well, it's been almost ten years since the last time I did it. Brain cells that remember how are are far in the back. Need to do something else. At any rate, Mother Jone's nice chart does show one thing. What would happen if wealth was distributed evenly? We'd all be poor. I don't want to be paid the same as a 15 year old. I don't want to be paid the same as an unskilled laborer. I don't think it's unfair for a highly educated, highly skilled professional to get paid more. My work IS more valuable. It just is. God loves us all the same but the marketplace values us differently. I also don't expect to get paid as much as someone the market values more highly. If I could make more money, I would, but I don't envy those who do, I admire them. Someday I could be rich, myself, so I don't envy, I strive.
