True enough Jeff.

But what happens in a year or so if(when) the zip _is_ your floppy drive? If the whole world is operating with Zip drives, how keen will you be to give it up? Not very I'm guessing.
Likewise, everybody keeps reminding us that in another year or two when DVD hits a reasonable price range, Iomega is dead. Well hell.. May as well stop spending that R&D money and crank out some incredible numbers for a few years. I don't think so.
Iomega spends plenty of money on R&D. I'm certain that they know at least as much as we do about DVD and they are devising a way to compete with the DVD technology as we speak. No body plans on being a flash in the pan and we also know that the management team behind Iomega is plenty good. Let's not kick a dead dog until it's dead. Iomega has a year or so to get something on the market to compete with DVD. We all know how the tech market changes in that kinda time, so... lets just wait and see. (Maybe Iomega will come up with something beyond DVD :P )

Luck to all,

Chris
