Although a particular portion of the line may have been going faster than 4 cells a minute, we don't know the true sustained output. Since the line is currently unbalanced the fact that at some place more than 4 can be produced does not mean that more than 4 can be produced somewhere else on the line.

Again, I really don't think it makes any sense for Valence to be talking about batteries in the application sense since each individual user can use as many cells as he wants to design into his "battery".
So if Toshiba decides to use 5 cells for high capacity and Dell decides to use 3 for lighter weight what is the correct conversion ratio ? There isn't. Valence makes battery cells, not application batteries.
