John, I said that tongue in cheek. I was referring to all the hypes about elevators getting stuck, bank vault does not open, etc. after year 2000. So I said reset the clock to 1980, it's a joke but it's true. Obvioulsy, if there is Y2K problem in a utility plant or a flight control tower, the code needs to be fixed.

If you want to believe in the doomsday scenario as predicted by Jaeger and Yardeni (sp?) because they are experts, then it's your right.

I find Rick Cowles to be more credible than guys like Jaeger and Yardeni who make a living conducting seminars about Y2K doomsday.
