Yea, maybe in our little world. I see few signs they are well understood likelihoods by the owners of said networks. You've read the same CTO mumbo-jumbo articles I have about how they have no plans for such "nonsense" in their queue.

Certainly a possibility, or something like that anyway. That capability will exist with DOCSIS 1.1. How it will be used is anyone's guess since the way the tools are to be used aren't defined in the specifications.
