All that you say there is true. My point is that if Rambus doesn't sell, the price will come down. They are just creaming the profits from the early adopters.

It's not like they said "This is the price which we have - based on our costs, let's see how many we sell" - it's a case of "We have so many RIMMS to sell, I reckon we can sell all of this first batch at this price".
