Hillary is indeed a potential rival of Kerry's, but otherwise you have no idea what you're talking about. Dems should have stood by Kerry, but they were scared Rove might make the lie against Kerry a real issue and that one again people might believe the smears. But it didn't work this time. The public didn't bite. Since the Kerry smears, GOP support has dropped 3-4%.

Also much bigger news is that Bush stands by Rumsfeld and Cheney and wants to continue the war unabated, and Bush's #1 evangelical crony turned out to be a criminal homosexual drug user.
