I think its going to sit in this area and be choppy for a while until the DOJ suit clears up some. Than I will probably buy a lot as it is a no-lose situation.

The question in my mind concerns Netscape and SUNW. If the DOJ and its cohorts settle with MSFT( which is very possible, especially if MSFT starts to get bad press from this trial and public opinion starts to turn against them),I would have to think that this will include an opening to Netscape on the computers sold preloaded, which would be a mini boon to Netscape, although Netscape has moved away from this arena somewhat. The larger question would be to SUNW. SUNS's arguement against MSFT, and the basis of both their fear and lawsuit, is that MSFT is attempting to steal JAVA. There could be some logic in this from their point of view. If MSFT continues to change SUNW JAVA to MSFT JAVA, than all they have to do is announce Windows 2000 does not support SUNW JAVA, and thats all she wrote for SUNW. So the question I have is will the DOJ force an opening for SUNW in MSFT OS? This would be a big boon for SUNW.
