We filled some jugs out here -- not because of Y2K -- we have a well and if an ice storm hits we'd need to have some to drink. Public water is very low tech and can be run without microprocessors if need be ... believe me -- I know. A day's interruption of electric service would have little effect on public water supply systems ...
