I don't think his lack of slickness is a negative attribute. If you have been around this thread long enough, you've heard me made the same statement -- that you shouldn't change the definition of marriage centuries after the fact to accommodate a conceptually different relationship.

This is not different from Barack Obama's position of two years ago.

Carson may not become a great politician, I don't know; he is engaged in a learning process. But nothing about his past suggests he is prone to failure. The same can't be said about our current president.
