Neoteric (Nepal) Pvt Ltd, the authorised dealer of Nokia phones for Nepal, launched Nokia Lumia 510 in the market last week.
Ashwin Kafle, area sales manager of the company, says, “Nokia Lumia 510 is a smart and modern entry-level smartphone. With the launch of Nokia Lumia 510, we continue to meet our commitment to bring Windows phones at more affordable prices.” According to him, people who use Windows phones quickly realise how much more intuitive it is than other smartphone platforms, and is the best embodiment of the Windows phone experience. The model is available in five colours — red, yellow, cyan, white and black.
Neoteric claims that with Nokia Lumia 510, the company is planning to welcome more people into the Windows Phone experience. Windows Phone is different to other smartphone platforms with ‘Live Tiles’, making it easy to see incoming messages and updates; people hub — which brings together contacts and updates from across social networks into one location — and access to Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer on the mobile.
Nokia Lumia features a bright four-inch display and downloading the camera extras app provides exclusive digital lens functionality to go with the five megapixel camera and built-in autofocus. Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport also offer the most comprehensive smartphone location and navigation experience available. Another important facility is that its operating system is available in Windows phone 7.8 and it provides 7 GB SkyDrive cloud Storage, TFT touchscreen, GPS, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.
Kafle says, “Nokia Lumia is targeted at the middle class consumers and is priced at Rs 18,740. As authorised dealers, we provide warranty for a year.” Nokia Lumia 510 runs on Windows Phone 7.8 and its additional apps — like Nokia Transport, Nokia Reading, et cetera — are available from its market place. ###
