Marc, the way you make money in bonds is if the interest rates fall. But one of the great accelerators in the stock market is a drop in interest rates. The leverage is much greater in the stock market. How much appreciation would you get with a drop of 50 basis points with a 30 yr T bond vs what you would get with that kind of drop in the stock market? Besides, one of the ways brokers love to make money is by moving investments around following their asset allocation models. It's just another ploy to get you to churn your account. Regards, Paul
