Further Rate Cuts: I believe Greenspan's remarks were directed toward hastily contrived attempts at fiscal stimulus. Re interest rates, most Fed watchers, and the Fed Funds futures market, believe the Fed will ease in early Oct at its next meeting, possibly by 1/2 pt.
