Dear Mr. Gilder, how absolutely delightful for you to begin posting on this thread! As you have probably already suspected, the overwhelming tenor is one of gratitude as you walk the tightrope of making highly complex technical issues as comprehensible as possible for those of us without EE's. I became a George Gilder convert when you definitively and uniquely put the HDTV hysteria in perspective. What a great call! That said, I am equally euphoric that "shorting Intel" was inaccurately attributed to you. Microprocessors may well become the bottleneck but my guess is that Andy Grove will figure out a way to stay in the thick of things, come hell or highwater.
