The USPTO has made glaring errors in the recent past... in regards to the internet. They gave one company a patent on eCommerce. They gave another company (I believe it was Comptons) a patent on multimedia. Both of these were overturned. The details are in a book called Owning the Future, by Seth Shulman. Rob S is right. The patent is a joke. Don't worry about it. It'll go away. Bezos' comments about the patent belong in the Hall of Fame, along with the "New Metric". Tom
