Eric. Yes the HP purchase of Symantecs Norton Administrator for Networks was in yesterday's PC WEEK online. I believe they paid ~30M for it. They want it to complement their iintegrated networking offering to the enterprise. IMHO, this product is not on the same level as Managewise. As far as an HP offer, I never expected HP to be in the frey. They are very conservative. I still like ORCL. Did YOU see where Ellen Hancock is "probably" leaving AAPL, and currently is engineering her package? Did you also know that she had 30 yrs with IBM, and was on the short list (the VERY short list) for the CEO of NOVL, but Frankenberg got the job (this is just a tid bit). No, ummm.... I don't think she's on the "short list" again <G>. Joe...
