Many stocks go through years of flat performance. Microsoft was flat from 1/1/92 to 1/1/94, before resuming its upward trend. Intel usually sits flat for about 18 months before doubling.

I agree a three year flat is tough to deal with, but it does allow long term investors to accumulate more stock cheaply. As long as the company continues to make progress, that's fine with me --- the price will come around in the end.
