Zeev, I have no idea(keep or ADR roll out) I was reading that Taiwan is now able to invest on Mainland China with World Trade Org ok for Mainland, for first time in 50 years. July news/insider sales release showed 14 million shares for sale by the government of Taiwan agency that is major shareholder and Merrill denied, a few months ago, rumored plans to ADR Taiwan Semi shares.
Today's convenient revision would serve two purposes for GS; one, able to distribute shares to clients at higher price or hype/prep for ADR rollout, and two, excuse to sustain semi/nasdaq rally for another day.
Let's face it, they can't get any more mileage out of INTC happy-talk, so maybe they just go overseas for more hype mileage, since nobody can check the facts on Taiwan's claims, anyway. Just smells fishy to me, with tech at important resistance, of course, ggg. James |
