Don't have any evidence but I suspect energy prices are currently 20% higher in Europe.

Logical assumption? The gourmet shop is likely to go out of business at some point because even their most basic items are 20% more expensive than the competition.

By that assumption the only retailer left standing is Walmart. Apple computer doesn't stand a chance. Tiffany's? Forget it.

Also, since Floridas power cost went up by 25% because of the new nuke plant we might as well close up shop.
