i960 for the client?

So far, talk of the i960 seems to be largely about its implementation at the server end. Has anyone heard about uses of i960 at the client end, either on the motherboard or in a NIC or other card? Are there applications at the client end, and is there need there? If so, I'd expect Intel to be happy to offer affordable i960's (RP-lite?) for that market. I'm interested, of course, because of the tremendous upside such applications would have for WIND, beyond the upside (also not yet in WIND analysts' projections) for the i960RP at the server.
