Andreas,

When you talk about overclocking are you referring to the motherboard bus speed or are you talking about the add-in board speed? I have a Diamond 3000 XL with 4 MB of EDO (ViRGE VX) running in an overclocked system with a 75 MHz mother board and 187.5 MHz pentium. The Diamond card is working great even with the higher PCI bus speed. I had the motherboard running at 83 MHz and the CPU at 166 MHz but W95 had problems with the keyboard interface but the Diamond board worked great. I would be interested in overclocking the Diamond board if possible. I would be concerned about overclocking the RAMDAC though. I have burned up DACs doing that in the past (not in PCs).

To all: sorry about the divergence of discussion away from the stock price. This does illustrate the robust design of the Diamond and ViRGE products which is a great asset. I would have done it via email but it is not working at the present.

Thanks in advance.

John
