I'm not sure who it was who posted that he didn't understand that the fact that Compaq is introducing small-footprint machines for business without Zips doesn't really mean anything significant. These are machines designed to be attached to networks in big companies, and to have small physical dimensions. So it's not surprising or important that they don't have Zips.

I guess whoever posted that stuff didn't notice that most of the EN series also don't come with CD-ROM drives standard. Check out the feature comparison at this url: compaq.com

Does this mean that Compaq is not committed to CD-ROM technology?
