BEAS (Bea Systems Inc--$76.00; +1.37; optionable (BUC)): Computer Software
& Services: Business Software & Services
STATUS: Continued the move off the 50 day MVA initiated Wednesday, moving
higher on stronger volume (8.3 million; avg. 9.7 million). The stock
broke above the down trendline (connection October, November and December
highs), the high tapping near upper resistance at the 78 level. That
isn't all; the stock needs to break through overhead supply through the
80 level at least. We like the break of the down trendline, however, and
look for that to now support the stock should it pull back.
BUY POINT: Aggressive: On a move up on stronger volume. Safer: Over
81, on average or better volume.
POSITION: Aggressive: Stock and/or February or March $75 calls to buy
(BUC BO CO). Safer: Stock and/or March $80 calls to buy (BUC CP).

I have opted for the aggressive route as usual <g>
