Chuck & Grog, I think you are off base about S3 & Compaq. Compaq tries many different combinations to see what works and what does not. Both of these solutions Nec & Cyrix are low volume. In fact Compaq just announced a reverse course on the network computer. They think that it is better to concentrate on lower cost PC's now! Look for good things between these 2 within the next 3 months. FYI - Compaq is hosting a conference on 4/8-10 in Houston. Later, Dave C. ps : Nice to see all the Bears back.
