I compare two when there's a trend, I don't recommend when there's no change, to cut down unnecessary beeps and "feedback" to him or you or the poster. His count lets us see visually if there are more or less, in a stack or two.

Visually, when it's horizontal rather than vertical, it takes me longer. But I rarely see errors because I have Barachart open, and there were 11 (Highs), last I looked. None were in your lists.
