In the most recent Senate poll in NC, Hagan has erased Dole's double digit lead as recently as mid-July, and in the latest poll leads by 3. Although Dole still leads in the rolling average, the trend is very very good (my sister who lives in NC is cautiously optimistic that Hagan might pull it out, and even that Barack has a chance there).

Meanwhile, in Minnesota, Coleman had a double digit lead in late July (July 22), but in the latest poll of Aug 17, Franken was ahead by 1. Should be a new poll very soon, don't know why there haven't been any for almost 3 weeks now. The rolling average is still Coleman, but the trend is Franken's friend.
